Narula.Legal – Legal Support for NRIs

At Narula.Legal, we are committed to providing clear, ethical, and transparent legal support for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) around the world. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy is framed to reflect the professional nature of legal services, the time invested in each client matter, and the integrity of our engagements.

1. General Terms

  • This policy applies to all services offered under Narula.Legal, including legal consultation, document drafting, case handling, litigation support, and allied legal services.
  • All refund requests must be made in writing by email to: support@narula.legal with the subject line “Refund Request – [Your Full Name & Case ID]”.

2. Consultation Services

a. Paid Consultations (Telephonic, Video Call, or Email-based):

  • Once a consultation is completed, no refund is applicable.
  • If you wish to cancel or reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. In such cases:
    • We will offer one-time rescheduling at no additional cost, OR
    • A 100% refund will be issued, if requested.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are non-refundable.

3. Document Review & Legal Opinions

  • Once our team has begun work (e.g., reviewing documents, initiating research), the service is considered “commenced” and becomes non-refundable.
  • If the request for cancellation is made before any work begins, we will issue a refund after deducting 10–15% as administrative and processing charges.

4. Drafting & Legal Representation Services

  • Once legal drafting (e.g., notices, affidavits, agreements, complaints, petitions) has commenced, no refund will be processed.
  • For legal representation or court-based services, once a vakalatnama has been filed or any court action initiated, the service becomes fully non-refundable.
  • In case of withdrawal before commencement, up to 70% of the amount may be refunded, depending on the stage of engagement and expenses incurred.

5. Subscription or Retainer Services

  • Subscription-based services (e.g., monthly/quarterly legal monitoring or advisory retainers) can be cancelled anytime, but the current billing cycle is non-refundable.
  • Future billing cycles will be stopped upon cancellation notice, effective immediately.

6. Payment Errors or Duplicate Transactions

  • If a client is charged more than once for the same service or there is a processing error, a full refund of the excess amount will be issued.
  • Refunds in such cases will be processed within 7–10 business days upon verification.

7. Refund Processing

  • All refunds are processed to the original method of payment unless otherwise specified.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days of approval.

8. No Guarantee Clause

  • Legal matters are subject to various interpretations and judicial discretion. Therefore, we do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with the legal outcome or court decision.

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute regarding this policy, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
